We continue to work in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change on the collection and evaluation of recyclables from the school.
On Wednesday 13 December, ‘Crazy Hat and Toy Exhibition’ consisting of waste materials was opened. With the guidance of visual arts teachers and Eco School coordinator teachers, our children brought the hats and toys they made using waste materials from their homes to school and exhibited them.
Our exhibition was welcomed with interest by students, parents and guests from outside the school.
On Wednesday 20 December, Eco-Tim participated in the training on ‘Compost’ prepared by our coordinator teachers. In the school garden, a practical process was carried out with shredders to utilise fruit and vegetable wastes. Our students learnt the concept of ‘Compost’ theoretically and practically and informed their families about the subject.
